Plush Giza Cotton Bath Towels

A great bath towel is used every day, so the details matter more than they seem. The fiber decides how soft and absorbent it is, the loop decides how it feels against the skin, and the finish decides how it looks and how long it lasts. Every Elegant Strand bath towel is woven from 100% Giza cotton, a long-staple fiber that makes up only 3% of the world's cotton, then finished by hand with detail you notice over years of use.

Our cotton bath towels come in two collections, built on the same Giza cotton but finished differently. Mykonos is our ultra-plush everyday towel, woven in Turkey with clean, tailored square edges and generously sized for daily use. Riviera is our most detail-driven towel, crafted in Portugal with longer loops and hand-sewn rounded corners for a denser, spa-like feel. Choose Mykonos for plush, hotel-style comfort, or Riviera for the finest finishing.

Most towels are made with twisted cotton loops. Ours are left untwisted. A zero-twist weave lets each loop stay open, hold more water, and feel softer against the skin. It absorbs quickly and stays plush, without the heavy, stiff feel of an ordinary terry towel.

Giza cotton is grown along the Nile delta and prized for its extra-long fibers. Those longer fibers spin into stronger, smoother yarns with fewer loose ends, so the towel resists pilling, holds its shape, and grows softer with every wash rather than wearing thin.

A bath towel is the everyday size most people reach for. A bath sheet is larger and more enveloping, ours measure 40" x 72", made to wrap fully around you. If you prefer to wrap up rather than dry off, choose the bath sheet.
