Most pair their duvet cover with the same weave as their sheets for a bed that's cohesive, though there's no rule against mixing the two. Percale is cool, crisp, and airy, the ideal choice for warm sleepers. Sateen is smooth and more lustrous, with a fuller drape that settles over the bed.

Each duvet cover closes along the foot with a row of mother-of-pearl buttons, cool and substantial to the touch. Inside, hidden corner ties anchor the duvet so it stays square and smooth, with no bunching or shifting through the night.

Every Elegant Strand duvet cover is woven with long-staple cotton, the same fiber behind all of our bedding collections. Longer staples spin into finer, stronger yarns with fewer loose ends, so the fabric resists pilling, holds its finish, and grows softer with every wash.
