Silky Soft Sateen Sheets

Sateen is woven so more of each thread sits on the surface. That gives it the smooth, soft feel and quiet sheen people associate with a beautifully made bed. It feels fluid against the skin and looks refined in the room.

The weave is what you feel first. By floating four threads over one, Sateen builds a denser, fuller surface that drapes with weight instead of lying flat. You get a little more body and a soft sheen, in place of the crispness of a matte Percale weave.

The feel starts with the fiber. We use only long-staple cotton, spun into smoother, stronger yarns with fewer loose ends. Our Sateen holds its texture, resists pilling, and softens beautifully without going thin.

Soft, smooth, with an elegant drape. Sateen carries a little more weight than Percale, so it settles over the bed and feels more inviting at night.

A higher number alone does not make a better sheet. Fiber and weave matter just as much, which is why our Sateen bedding runs from 300 to 1,000 thread count.
