Decorative Pillow Shams

A pillow sham is a decorative pillow cover, the finishing layer that frames the head of the bed. It slips over an insert and completes the look. Made to layer with your Elegant Strand sheets, ours come in crisp Percale and smooth Sateen, in Standard, Euro, and King.

A pillowcase is open at one end and made for sleeping; a sham is finished on every side, with a tailored closure, and made to be seen. Euro shams often anchor the back of the bed, with Standard and King shams layered in front.

Most pair their shams with the same weave as their sheets for a bed that's cohesive, though there's no rule against mixing the two. Percale is cool, crisp, and matte. Sateen is smooth and more lustrous, with a fuller drape.
