MADE IN ITALY

A Region Rooted in Textile Heritage

Few fabrics rival Italian-woven cotton. Each of our Italian collections is made entirely in Leffe, a town in the Lombardy region whose weaving tradition reaches back to the Middle Ages. Set in the Val Seriana near the Alps, Leffe belongs to a textile heritage built over centuries of small, family-run mills. There, every set is woven, finished, and tailored under one roof, from the long-staple cotton yarn to the final hand-finished hem.

From Fiber to Finish

Italian craftsmanship is renowned for precision, not excess. It begins with long-staple cotton, spun into a fine, smooth yarn, then woven and refined to bring out its surface and feel. The finishing varies by piece: an embroidered satin stitch, a piped border, or left pure solid white.

Every step happens under one roof in Leffe, by people who have made fine linens their craft for generations.

Percale or Sateen?

Each set is offered in both of the classic weaves, crafted from the same long-staple cotton. Our Italian Percale sheets are cool, crisp, and breathable, with the feel of a freshly pressed hotel bed. Our Sateen is smooth and luminous, with a softer drape and a quiet sheen that catches the light.

Thread Count, in Context

A higher number alone does not make a better sheet. Fiber and weave matter just as much, which is why our Italian collections run from 500 to 1,000 thread count.
