Michael Wolk designs compelling spaces and powerful furniture. He started designing professionally in New York while studying at Pratt, and moved to Miami in 1973. Over the next four decades he's assembled and led an extraordinary team of designers and artisans. Together he has produced unforgettable interiors for luxury residences, hotels, restaurants, and public spaces.

Michael Wolk talks about why he loves white bedrooms

Michael said,  “there is something alluring about all-white. Whether it’s a polished living room or luxurious bedroom, an all-white space sets a simple yet elegant tone to the area. A whitewashed room can also bring on feelings of peace and serenity.

He adds,” The crisp, clean look of an all-white bedroom is completely unique depending on what types of furniture you choose. Choosing a bold tone to pop out through the white can also bring a dramatic effect without taking away too much from the overall feel of the space.”

Your bedroom is the ultimate place for rest and relaxation. It's the room where you begin and end each day, so it should be your ideal space. And if you're thinking it might be time to revamp your sleeping space, you've come to the right place. Although redoing your bedroom might sound like a tall task, it can actually be much less stressful than you think. Instead of overcomplicating your renovation plans, he suggests going back to the basics and opting for a white bedroom with luxurious white bedding.

There are so many ways to make white fit your aesthetic, whether your style is rustic, modern, or somewhere in between. A white bedroom offers you the ability to add nearly any kind of furniture and decor you desire. color; with white as the base, just about anything will work. One of the best parts about having a white bedroom, though, is how the color makes the room feel so serene and calm, which is exactly what you want when you're trying to fall asleep.

Pairing the minimalist theme with a contemporary twist, a bedroom like this one is intriguing in its simplicity. There is absolutely no clutter or mess to the room. You have a clean, white room with a few accent pieces such as art or pastel decorative pillow. Having less is more when it comes to the theme of this room.
